CORR Returns to Action at Firebird with Friday Qualifying; Krajicek, Holtger Post Fastest Laps

Pro SXS racer Kolton Krajicek paced the Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) field in Friday qualifying for this weekend’s doubleheader at Firebird Motorsports Park, the third and fourth rounds of the 2025-26 season. Krajicek’s 53.720 nipped top October qualifier Beau Judge by just .274 seconds for the top spot, as less than a second separated the top five in both Pro SXS and Pro NA.

Two months ago, just five drivers were able to crack the one-minute mark in their qualifying laps; this weekend, the pace picked up considerably. Pro Lite, Pro Am Turbo, SR1, and Youth SXS all ratcheted up their speeds to crack the 60-second barrier, with Midwest champion Johnny Holtger’s season debut in Pro Lite seeing him post the second-fastest pole lap of the entire weekend.

Fastest racers on Friday who also posted the top times in October included Carson Greco (Pro Am), Trent Ouellette (Pro NA), Andre Tomei (Pro Am Turbo), Ryder Greco (Youth Restricted), and Addie Atteberry (800 Open). The smallest margin between first and second went down to Youth SXS title rivals Kash Hart and Mikey Childress, who were split by just .105 seconds, closely followed by SR1, where Larry Hayes bested Paul O’Brien by just .111.

First CORR Qualifying Session of 2025-26 in the Books; Pro SXS’s Beau Judge Fastest Overall

Qualifying for the first event of the 2025-26 Championship Off-Road Racing (CORR) season at Firebird Motorsports Park is in the books, with more than 15 unique classes each doing battle at the storied Arizona venue on Friday. When all was said and done, Pro SXS racer Beau Judge had the fastest time of the day, while every class on the entry list had a different top qualifier despite the many fast drivers who will go for glory in multiple classes this weekend.

Pro SXS saw a hotly contested battle for first on the charts, with Judge’s 55.289 besting Ryder Chapman for top honors by just three hundredths of a second. In fact, the entire top five was separated by just over half a second, setting the stage for two incredible days of battles on Saturday and Sunday between 116 different racers—a new series record.
